Song 22 03:26
About the song: A candid exercise in demonstrating the light and dark side of the creative process. Specifically that the results never quite measure up to the ideal held. Trivia: There is a made-up word in this early written (2009-ish) but previously un-recorded track, that became the bands namesake. ____________________ ____________________ I've got lightning in my mouth. My teeth are crackling with real life. This ambrosia, oh no - this poison, running through my veins Tells me I am immortal, such lies I half-believed Before I met you what was I? Before I knew you who was I? In the town there's a cross for the lamb by the clock, in the park, by the library I have stalked those steps in a memory I've carried, I've worn, I've raised the flag of our ship: 'The Unicorn' Enter the lion in a cage returns home the soldier from the war These ideas, no these hopethorns, running though my brain tell me I am immortal, such lies I half-believed You never let me down, no one lets me down And I am worm, in you star garden. No man am I, to pierce this veil of light, As I return.

Hotel Bardo 05:39
About the song: So, we all live in this hotel. A discussion about politics, capitalism and the current plight of our planet. ---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- The hotel's on fire Satan leads the choir from the hall, "It's checkout at 11, here's your key, Floor #7... wake up call?" And if I say nothing, will we end up bearing the same scars through the fear of showing it, the pain of knowing what we are? Oh you know this isn't real No judge, no need appeal No good, no evil reign In this life, this life of dreams It's a 50 storey monster, we travel every chamber without fail. Through the smoke, through the heat check outside, hear the sirens wail. How's the clock keep ticking while the flames are licking up the walls? And if I stop watching, I'll hear someone say "We tried to save them all."? Oh you know this isn't real No judge, no need appeal No good, no evil reign In this life, this life of dreams

About the song: The call of the void. The imp of the perverse. It's in everyone, that thought in the back of your mind that considers doing what you know you never would when the opportunity presents itself. You still think about it though, don't you? --------------------------------- --------------------------------- 'Sweet' - the word that incompletely conveys a fall longed for. Add the wish to say the name nice to know you've got reasons to live. Or recalling that beam of light as it played on your face. Like a kind of tear you didn't cry nice to know you've got reasons to live. Surfing a wave of mental pictures where's the gravity too late to catch me. Up the next hell it'll climb for one that knows what it sees again. As too, the sky to fetch me on a modern day. Nice to know you've got reasons to live. I don't place my own trust in me while I see that knowledge go free. Of what I think, that I can be. Nice to know I've got reasons to live.

Will 03:24
I heard it on the radio. I think i saw it on t.v. once But I never thought I'd think thoughts, that i never thought, in the things I never saw, that I could see. I will.... not care, not love, not give, not share 'till she lets me know, until she lets me go. Before it gets started, it's falling to pieces. I know the words, I know them all . I know the word that means falling to pieces, I know the word we used it quite a lot. That 4 letter word that we used at the start, now at the end, do I write it off? Cause I can't love, can't give, can't care, can't share. Let's dry our tears. Let's dry our tears, then let's cry.
